If you need advice on where to take your career then contact nextstep who offer free, tailored, expert advice on how to get the career you want. Advice is also available on where to look for jobs, the best websites for jobseekers and tips and techniques for a successful interview. 

Do you need to retrain or develop new skills?

If you want to update your skills or retrain in another discipline then nextstep can help you achieve your goal. 

Are you about to be made redundant or have you already been made redundant in the last year from a leadership, managerial, highly technical or professional role?

If so, then the ‘Talent Challenge’ initiative may be able to provide you with direct support by providing a tailored assessment and personal development planning service. 

 Do you need practical advice?

If your circumstances have changed in the current economic downturn, you may need advice on your mortgage payments, housing and tax credits.   If this is the case there are a number of resources available to you.
